HEY~!!
I am Sumiran Kaur,
your author, here’s more about me.
I'm a 20-year-old Economics student based in India with a deep interest in culture, human behavior, language, and the systems that shape the way people live and interact. Alongside my academic work, I'm a language enthusiast and polyglot who believes that language is one of the most powerful tools for understanding people, preserving heritage, and building meaningful connections across communities.
Much of my work is driven by a simple question: how can we create a world where people understand one another better?
Through writing, research, and community initiatives, I explore topics ranging from culture and identity to social impact, education, and collective memory. I am particularly interested in how traditions, stories, languages, and shared experiences can bring people together in an increasingly fragmented world.
This platform serves as both a portfolio and a public record of my work. Here, you'll find essays, projects, advocacy efforts, and long-form reflections documenting the ideas I am exploring and the initiatives I am building.
My goal is not only to study society, but to contribute to it — by creating spaces for dialogue, preserving cultural knowledge, and developing projects that encourage curiosity, understanding, and connection across borders.
I believe that meaningful change often begins with awareness, conversation, and access to knowledge.
My initiatives focus on cultural exchange, education, community-building, and public advocacy. Through these projects, I aim to make cultural knowledge more accessible, encourage cross-cultural understanding, and create opportunities for people to engage with histories, traditions, languages, literature, and ideas beyond their own experiences.
Whether through research, writing, digital platforms, or collaborative projects, my work is centered on one goal: helping build more informed, connected, and empathetic communities.
